Streettag (item from southandvale.gov.uk)

Street Tag is now up and running all over Oxfordshire and is a great way to encourage schools and communities to remain physically active. We are asking Parish Councils in the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire to please help us promote this initiative to their communities through newsletters and community pages.

Street Tag works by installing the app and earning points from physical activities such as walking, cycling and jogging to collect virtual tags and convert your steps to points. When playing Street Tag ,you can record the distance walked ,run or cycled by scanning virtual tags with your smartphones at various geographical locations.

We are asking parents with primary school children to sign up to support their school in the Street Tag Oxfordshire School Games and families, teams and individuals to sign up for the Oxfordshire community league.

More information on Street tag and how to sign up can be found on the links below.

Thank you for your help and hope we can get the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire topping the leaderboards.
