Culham and District Horticultural Club

The annual subscription is £20. This includes attendance at talks. The cost of garden visits depends on how much the owners charge. Visitors are welcome to both.

Dorchester abbey bellringers

To ring the Abbey bells for services, weddings and other celebrations.

Date/Time: Practice night Tuesday at 7.30 pm

The choir provides the music sung in Dorchester Abbey week by week.

Dorchester allotment society

To facilitate the successful and enjoyable cultivation of plots and provide a friendly environment encouraging community spirit.

Dorchester Amateur Dramatics Society (D.A.D.S.)

To give amateur performances of dramatic works in public and provide opportunities for its members to meet on a social basis.

Dorchester cricket club

The senior sides play league cricket on Saturdays within the Oxfordshire Cricket Association and for season 2018 the first team will play in division 3 and the second team in division 6. Friendly cricket is played on Sundays and we also play on Wednesday evenings during the early part of the season in a friendly league so cricketers of all abilities are catered for.

Dorchester Golf Society (D.O.G.S.)

To spread good fellowship and friendship throughout the village. Golf is therefore our means, not our end, and we use the game as a means of meeting and playing with people whom we might not have met and played with otherwise. The nineteenth hole is therefore our most important.

Dorchester historical society

A society open to anyone interested in history, and in particular local history, offering a range of opportunities to pursue personal interests.

Date/Time: Eight meetings are held each year on the fourth Wednesdays of January to May and September to November

Dorchester on thames flower show committee

Dorchester’s answer to the Chelsea Flower Show! We have two shows each year, in Autumn and Spring, when green-fingered enthusiasts contest classes for blooms, vegetables, fruit and floral art. There are also domestic, photographic, handicraft and children’s sections.

Dorchester Sailing Club

To promote sailing and provide an ideal environment for both new and experienced sailors.
