The Dorchester Abbey Tea Room

The Tea Room is housed in part of the Abbey Guest House close to the main door to the Abbey.

It provides hospitality and outreach for Dorchester Abbey and supports the Abbey’s charitable donations.

Recently profiled in the Financial Times Weekend Section and featuring in Hattie Ellis’ book “Eating England”, in the last 30 years the Tea Room has been visited by thousands of people from nearby and from as far away as California and Australia, many coming back year after year and introducing their children and even grandchildren.

Open from Easter to the end of September every year (incl. bank holidays) serving tea, coffee, home-made cakes, scones and jam, etc.
