Earth Trust: Clumps Club

Experience some wild adventures in this holiday club for 7-11 year olds!

Different outdoor activities each day:

Monday 21st August: Wild Survival
We’ll be building natural shelters, practising our map reading skills and learning lots of traditional bushcraft skills, such as foraging, lighting a fire without matches and cooking over the open flames!

Tuesday 22nd August: Living History
Travel back in time and explore the rich history of the Clumps. We’ll invade the Iron Age hill fort, make pottery and try prehistoric painting.

Wednesday 23rd August: Nature Detectives
Try hunting for minibeasts in the woodlands and wildflower meadows and investigate the mysterious depths of the pond to find what incredible creatures live underwater.

Thursday 24th August: Discover and Play
A Forest School style fun day in the woods where everyone can follow their own interests: build a den, go bug hunting, try some natural arts and crafts or relax in a hammock! In the afternoon we’ll head back to the Earth Trust Centre garden to make a giant natural sculpture.

Friday 25th August: Stories in the Woods
Today will be filled with stories, myths and legends. We’ll get really creative by inventing our own legend, and then celebrate the end of the week with games and cake at an ‘end of Clumps Club’ party!

Book all 5 days and get 1 FREE! There are also a number of funded places available for looked after children, please get in touch for further information.

The first week of Clumps Club this summer is Monday 31st July-Friday 4th August.
