5 miles approx.
Time
3 hours including a stop at a pub midway.
The walk will follow
the Thames Path to Day’s Lock from where we will go via Wittenham Clumps to
Brightwell- cum – Sotwell. Following a stop at the Red Lion for a drink we will
return to Day’s Lock and Dorchester through Little Wittenham Wood. Hopefully the
trees will be looking at their Autumn best and we will have good views.

We are a friendly group
who are always pleased to welcome new walkers. Details of any walk can be talked
through with the person who is organising the walk. If any of your family or
friends are staying and would like to join us please bring them along. This is a
good way to explore our beautiful local countryside and get some exercise!
