Hidden Britain Open Day

Easter Monday (24^th March) 2-5 p.m.

Programme

 

·        tours of Dorchester Abbey at 2.30 and 4.00

·        a guided walk round the village at 3.30 (starting at the Abbey lych gate)

·        a balloon race from the Abbey grounds at 5.00

·        afternoon tea in the Abbey Tea Room (3-5 p.m.) and Village Hall (2-5 p.m.)

·        an exhibition of local tourist attractions and leisure activities in the Village Hall (2-5 p.m.)

·        an exhibition of Dorchester photographs in the Village Hall (2-5 p.m.)

 

As well as these, you can:

·        try out the new Touchscreens in the Abbey and Museum

·        collect your family copy of the Millennium Album CD from the Village Hall (Dorchester residents only) and see the original book

·        pick up walk guides to Dorchester and the surrounding area
